On the 24th of March, we announced our service update in response to the outbreak of covid-19, this included the immediate ceasing of site visits, installations and non-essential travel. We quickly developed a self installation product that could be suction mounted to the inside of a window. We were also made aware of restrictions and delays with third-party subcontractors which have delayed our pending deployments. On top of this, our stock has nearly depleted and we’ve seen an increase in delivery issues
Now the worst of the lockdown is over and restrictions are easing, we’re back to work as normal with some extra measures to protect you, our engineers and others around us. This involves disinfection between jobs and of all work places before and after work, social distancing and continuing our work from home methods. We are still working as hard as we can to deploy our network where its needed. We thank you for your continued patience.
We are fully aware and prepared for another lockdown, We will continue infection control indefinitely with additional precautions being put in place as per Government advice.
We’re now making permanent any temporary self-installs that have been ordered, we are also building a small stock of self install kits incase another lockdown happens. If your struggling to get broadband, now is the time to pre-register.
