Tips for doing speed tests
For best speeds, please plug your device into Ethernet direct to router. This will show your connected speed. We know this doesn’t represent your day to day usage, so after this test, please proceed with a WiFi test next to the router and another where you typically use it. Note all these speeds down, along with the time, date and place, this means we’ll have a full picture of whats being experienced. 

Please also make sure 

  • No other device is using the internet. 
  • Your device has a full charge or is plugged into mains power.
  • No known issues are currently showing on our Service Status

If after a few tests throughout the day your speeds are far lower than expected, please report this as a fault providing as much information as possible. We can investigate the issue and put right any problems being encountered.
